Looking ahead –
the Calendar at Anna’s Therapeutic Garden:
Garden Tours
Tour: What’s Blooming this Week?
Mondays, 8am.
Weekly tour through the garden: Identify this week’s flowers in bloom.
We also learn various plant identifications – by sight, color, foliage, aroma, habits, and site types, observing as they change thru the seasons.
Regularly attended, by the end of the season you will learn and identify more than 200 plants.
Garden Therapy*
Regularly.
Combines physical activity, learning, and enjoyable time outdoors in a therapeutic environment.
Scheduled according to the weather, you learn many plants’ identifications and scents, as well as best approaches to working in the garden with hands-on activity.
Herb Therapy*
TBA. Same as Garden Therapy, except we focus especially on a single plant or herb. Usually scheduled last-minuted. Be sure to sign up on Trello.
Morning Brew Therapy
Mondays, 8:30am. Enjoy nature and wildlife in the yard while discussing relevant issues over a cup of brew. RSVP please.
Yoga in the Garden
Coming soon. Schedule TBD. Contact if interested.
Art Therapy Tuesdays
Art therapy sessions are free for ATG’s Garden Therapy volunteers.
All others: please contact to confirm space (and cost of materials, if applicable).
Tapas in the Garden
RSVP only. Outdoor garden social with drinks & tapas, Spanish-style, with world-traveled, award-winning Chef.
Must RSVP by the preceding Tuesday. Courtesty of Pizza & Pastry
Wine & Weed Wednesdays*
Wednesdays, flexible
Same as Garden Therapy, except more exceptionally relaxed, with a glass or two of sangria in the late afternoons. Not actually limited to Wednesdays. A bucket of weed gets you a glass! Ok ok I’m flexible: you bring the wine, I’ll pull.
Depends on weather and whether there’s wine.

Trello
The productivity-management tool I absolutely love using. I use the app at the desktop to keep track of gardening projects, plant info, and research conclusions, as well as when I’m out and about with my mobile– making notes, taking pictures, and checking off to-do list items.
Scheduling and assigning tasks to team members makes clear accountability and following thru even easier.
